Moores Clothing for Men Opens on Brookdale

Moores Clothing for Men has opened a new store at Brookdale Square, a retail plaza located at the corner of Brookdale Avenue and Tollgate.
“We are very happy to offer the Moores retail experience to consumers in Cornwall,” said Blake Boughen, District Manager for Moores. “The new Cornwall store is our newest, and joins a network of 125 Moores stores across Canada.”
The Cornwall store is well stocked and well-appointed with a diverse mix of formal, business attire and casual wear for men and boys. There is a full-time tailor on site.
“Our tailor can not only alter clothing bought at Moores, but can also alter clothing bought elsewhere – including mens and ladies wear,” adds Mr. Boughen.
Moores Clothing for Men started as a family-run business in Mississauga featuring low prices on Canadian-made clothing. In 1999, Moores was acquired by The Mens Wearhouse, one of the world’s leading independent retailers of men’s clothing.
Company officials moved quickly to introduce brand labels, improve the quality and assortment of goods as well as an introduce shoes, boys suits and increased casual clothing.
Today, the Moores lineup of clothing includes Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole and Tommy Hillfiger suits; shoes by Kenneth Cole with jeans by Buffalo, Lucky and Silver. Moores also features a variety of Canadian-made suits by Jack Victor in Montreal and now offer custom-made suits that are Canadian-made, designed by the customer.
