Year in Review Presentation Goes Virtual

December 10, 2020
By Dana McLean

Cornwall Ontario – Cornwall’s economy is in the spotlight with the presentation of the much anticipated Year in Review report from Cornwall Economic Development.

This year the presentation will take place virtually on the Zoom web conferencing platform. The presentation is set to begin at 9:00 am on Thursday December 17.

Each year Cornwall Economic Development compiles a report of major investments, achievements and other positive events that have taken place over the past year. For the past 23 years, the report has been released publicly to well over 300 businesses and community leaders at a gathering hosted by Team Cornwall. This year the event goes online for the very first time.

“There is no denying that the pandemic has presented an unprecedented challenge for our entire community, with significant disruptions of business activity in a variety of sectors,” said Bob Peters,  Manager of Cornwall Economic Development. “Our business community has risen to meet that challenge with the support of local residents and at the same time we continue to see positive investments and new development.”
