Survey Launched to Poll Local Businesses

April 22, 2020
By Kevin Lajoie

Cornwall Ontario – A survey has been developed to gauge the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on local businesses.

Regional Business Survey

The survey was developed by local municipal economic development offices from the United Counties of Stormont Dundas and Glengarry, the City of Cornwall and area townships.

“We are seeking a better understanding of how COVID-19 has affected local businesses,” says Nicholas Seguin, Manager of Economic Development, Tourism & Communications with SDG. “The information gathered will help guide local Councils when developing recovery programs and community support.”

The survey is open to all businesses and not-for-profits in Cornwall and SDG and takes about five minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed online here:

“There are a number of organizations and resources that will be able to make use of the information to help direct current and future support efforts,” says Bob Peters, Division Manager of Cornwall Economic Development. “More participation by businesses both large and small will make for better data. Please share this survey throughout the community.”

The survey closes on April 30.
