A New Home For Cornwall Honda
March 15, 2024Cornwall Ontario – Cornwall Honda is welcoming customers to its new dealership on Brookdale Avenue, and feedback has been very positive.
“We have been overwhelmed with the wonderful response,” says Bill Woolley, Dealer Principal and owner of Cornwall Honda. “It is always nice to see a project come to life from the initial drawings, but the real reward is seeing just how well the building creates a warm space for customers to explore our new vehicles.”
The new dealership features a state of the art 28,000 sq.ft. building on four acres, and is located a few kilometers north of the dealerships former location. Cornwall Honda was part of the original group of Honda Dealers in Canada to welcome the newly launched Honda Civic to customers in 1973, and the new building is built with an eye for servicing local customers for this next 50 years.
This includes growing excitement for the launch of the Honda Prologue this spring, an all-electric sport utility vehicle that boasts a 452 km EPA range rating, the highest standard driving range in its class. It is Honda’s enduring legacy of quality and innovation that drives the dealership’s team of 14, including Mr. Woolley’s son, Nick.
“We designed our new home to accommodate Honda’s new and future lineup of traditional, hybrid and electric vehicles,” adds Mr. Woolley. “We also wanted to implement environmental best practices today in all operations of the dealership.”
Cornwall Honda’s new site is expected to cut utility costs in half and save an average of 102 metric tons of CO2e each year.
Highlights of the new dealership include:
- Two EV parking stalls
- Two detailing stations and two wash bays using steam cleaning to save water
- Flexible showroom space for eight vehicles
- Onsite tire storage facility separate from main building.
- Solar panels on the tire storage facility to power to the dealership
- A photo booth for vehicles
- Quarantine zone to store a vehicle in case of an unknown battery state
“The Cornwall Honda experience will continue to evolve to provide the products and services our customers are looking for,” said Mr. Woolley. “As we celebrate our 50-year anniversary, our focus remains with the customer, from sales to service. Please come and check out our new home!”
Cornwall Honda is located at 2660 Brookdale Avenue. The dealership is open from 9 to 6, Monday through Thursday, 9 to 5 on Friday and from 9 to 1pm on Saturdays. A grand opening celebration and official ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for April 25.
