Cornwall Ontario – One of Cornwall’s gateway transportation corridors will be improved next week.
Boundary Road will be closed for repairs to the CN tracks for two days beginning June 15. CN will be replacing components of the rail crossing and the City will be completing asphalt resurfacing adjacent to/in between the tracks at the same time.
- Affected Road: Boundary Road from Industrial Park Drive to Marleau Avenue.
- Start time: 7 am on Monday, June 15
- End time: 6 pm on Tuesday, June 16
The businesses in the northern portion of the Business Park will continue to have access to Highway 401 from Boundary Road. The businesses south of the tracks will be detoured.
Boundary Road is the Eastern gateway to the City of Cornwall, connecting the Cornwall Business Park to Highway 401. The Business Park is home to major distribution centres, manufacturing companies and trucking firms.
