Applications Open For Eastern Ontario Development Program

Cornwall Ontario – The Cornwall & The Counties Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) is now accepting applications for the newest round of funding from the Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP).

“We encourage all local businesses to take a close look at the new EODP guidelines and see if they might have a project that qualifies,” says François Désormeaux, Chief Executive Officer of the CFDC.  “The Board of Directors of the CFDC is looking forward to reviewing applications.”

The Eastern Ontario Development Program is provided by FedDev Ontario. The program supports business and community organizations via financial assistance through two funding streams:

Business Development Stream
Promote growth of new and existing businesses in rural eastern Ontario communities.

    • Training & Mentoring
    • Business Start-ups
  • Existing Business
    • Productivity Enhancements
    • Market Diversification
    • Innovation/Product development
    • Succession Planning
Community Innovation Stream
Advance community-led economic development to enhance and diversify local economics.
  • Expansion of Economic Assets (Capacity Building)
  • Industry cluster and expansion
  • Labour market development
  • Strategic planning and research studies
  • Business Infrastructure
  • Business incubators
  • Supply chain analysis and development
EODP funding is available to qualifying businesses in Cornwall, Akwesasne and the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.
