Orange Neurosciences Joins Lead to Win ProgramAugust 31, 2017
Cornwall Ontario – The Cornwall Innovation Centre has announced that a new venture has been invited to join the Lead To Win business accelerator program. Orange Neurosciences successfully pitchid their business idea at a recent Venture Demo Day in August.
“We’re thrilled to welcome an innovative and forward-thinking company, Orange Neurosciences, to the CIC,” said John Rattray, co-chair of the CIC’s Board of Directors. “We look forward to helping them continue on their path to success.”
Orange Neurosciences has developed ReadON.AI, a neuroscientific program that provides correction for mental health issues caused by learning disabilities. The company is headed by Vinay Singh of Kingston, Ingrid Poupart of Martintown and Dave Goyal of Orange County, California.
Orange Neurosciences was one of three ventures that pitched their ideas to the CIC review panel which consists of Dr Tony Bailetti, Founder of the Lead to Win program and Director of Carleton University’s Technology Innovation Management master’s program; Rowland Few, CEO and founder of The Sales Desk Company Inc.; Bernie Schmidt, Industrial Technology Advisor at the National Research Council Canada; Nick Dimakis, General Manager of the Caisse populaire de Cornwall; and Tom Kaneb, Entrepreneur and Investor in manufacturing and technology businesses.
With the invitation into the CIC, Orange Neurosciences will have exclusive access to Lead To Win benefits including high-level mentorship, capacity development events, early buyer support, funding, IT support, co-working spaces at the NAV CENTRE and on-site wellness amenities. Eligible candidates are expected to generate $1M in annual revenues by their third year of operation.
The CIC’s Lead To Win program is modeled after Carleton University’s offering, named one of the Top 10 accelerator programs in North America.
The next Venture Demo Day is tentatively set for October 25, 2017.
