Cornwall Ontario – The Cornwall Construction Association (CCA) has relaunched, re-establishing its role as a leading voice for the construction industry in Eastern Ontario.

Cornwall Construction Association

The Association held an official relaunch event in September, which drew a full house of industry leaders, contractors, and community partners. At the meeting, association leaders highlighted a renewed commitment to representing the interests of local construction professionals while fostering collaboration and growth across the sector. Since that time, additional work has been done on filling vacant board positioins, updating the website, and meeting with community stakeholders.

The relaunch follows three consecutive years of success for the CCA’s signature golf tournament, which has sold out every year with 144 golfers. These events have become not only a highlight of the local construction calendar but also a major networking opportunity, drawing participants from across the region.

“The success of our tournaments and now this relaunch shows just how much energy and passion there is within Cornwall’s construction community,” says CCA President Brad Robertson. “The CCA exists to be that unified voice – advocating for our industry, creating opportunities to connect, and ensuring our members have the support they need to thrive.”

“We are excited to work closely with local municipalities to strengthen Cornwall’s construction sector,” said Executive Officer Christine De Ladurantaye. “This collaboration ensures that the voices of our members are heard and that our industry continues to contribute meaningfully to the growth and prosperity of our region.”

Founded to provide representation and advocacy for contractors, suppliers, trades, and related professionals, the CCA is doubling down on its role as both a voice and a hub for the industry. Upcoming initiatives include training opportunities, advocacy efforts with local municipalities and provincial partners , and new platforms for members to share knowledge and resources.

The CCA’s relaunch is seen as both a milestone and a springboard. With a strong track record of member engagement and community involvement, the association aims to elevate its presence even
further – strengthening ties within the industry while continuing to highlight the vital role construction plays in Cornwall’s economic development.
