Cornwall Featured in First Ever OBJ Magazine
February 2, 2026Cornwall Ontario – Cornwall is the featured in the first issue of OBJ, the new flagship magazine of the Ottawa Business Journal.

It has been quite a journey since our editorial team last profiled Cornwall in 2008,” says Michael Curran, President and Publisher of Great River Media. “Given the city’s remarkable growth and industrial expansion over the last 18 years, we felt it was the perfect moment to return for a comprehensive look at the city’s evolution.”
The Executive Report on Cornwall is a 24 page section in the magazine, and includes a message from Mayor Towndale, interviews from a roundtable meeting of local business and community leaders, along with other articles including profiles on major economic sectors, companies to watch and people to know.
“Cornwall has emerged as one of Eastern Ontario’s most compelling locations for business investment, thanks to a combination of affordability, strategic positioning, and a steadily growing economic base,” says Phil Gaudreau, Editor of the Executive Report on Cornwall. “As I learned more about Cornwall writing for this special report, there were plenty of benefits our local panelists highlighted – and one they all agreed on was its location. Cornwall provides businesses with efficient access to suppliers and customers across Ontario, Quebec, and the northeastern United States.”
The magazine will be distributed to subscribers and select outlets in Ottawa. A supply will also be availabe at the offices of Cornwall Economic Development.
