Cornwall Featured in Seventh Edition of STUFF Magazine

The latest edition of STUFF magazine aims to be the go-to resource fro sourcing high quality products across eight sectors. profiles many of those companies, and highlights exciting career opportunities in the region.

STUFF is an annual publication highlighting the building and manufacturing sectors in Eastern Ontario. The 2026 issue takes a closer look at
“We’re in the midst of a structural shift in society, technology, and business,” says STUFF Editor Terry Tyo. “The ground is moving beneath us, but with change comes exciting new options for those willing to see them. In Eastern Ontario, in the manufacturing and construction sectors, forces are reshaping these industries and creating opportunities for those ready to act.”
“In a region known for innovation, craftsmanship, and collaboration, Eastern Ontario’s manufacturing sector drives economic growth and opportunity,” says Mr. Tyo. “From small local businesses crafting unique and high quality consumer products, to advanced manufacturers making cutting edge hardware for use around the world. Manufacturers in the region employ over 46,000 people generating an estimated $5.3 billion in economic impact.”
The 7th edition of the popular magazine includes the following features:
- B2B Buyers’ Guide: A resource guide to sourcing high-quality, locally manufactured products across eight key sectors.
- 2026 Salary Guide: An in-depth look at career opportunities in manufacturing and construction, including which roles are in demand and how much they pay.
STUFF includes information on a number of Cornwall area companies, including BASF, Olymel, Fieldless Farms, Laminacorr, Ross Video, Lactalis, Glengarry Fine Cheese, Lanthier Bakery, Stone Crop Acres Winery, Kabinets by Design, in addition to a four-page story on the Eastern Ontario Training Board and its Newcomer Employment Welcome Services (NEWS). The 2024-25 edition also has includes ongoing work at the R. H. Saunders Generating Station as one of five major projects in Eastern Ontario.
