Cornwall to Host Skills Ontario Summer Camp
February 10, 2026Cornwall Ontario – The Cornwall Campus of St. Lawrence College will be hosting a Skills Ontario Summer Camp this summer. It is the third consecutive year that SLC has hosted these summer camps.

The Skills Ontario Trades & Tech Summer Camps provide participants with the opportunity to explore careers in the skilled trade and technology fields in a hands-on camp setting. The camps allow youth to gain access to information on career pathways and opportunities, and practice essential skills needed to enter the skilled workforce.
“I have heard spots go fast, so if your child who is interested in STEM/skilled trades, sign up ASAP once registration opens on February 25,” says Daniel Liao, Dean of Applied Science, Technology and Trades for St. Lawrence College.
Details
- The Cornwall camp is scheduled for July 6-10, 2026
- Camps are intended for participants entering Grades 7-9 the following school year.
- Each camp session runs Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day.
- Camp registration rates are $230 per camper (plus applicable fees).
- Registration opens on Wednesday February 25th, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.

At each camp location, Skills Ontario works closely with our camp hosts and other local organizations to provide our participants with an exceptional camp experience. The camps focus on exploring the skilled trades & technologies careers, which includes the construction, industrial, motive power, service, and technology sectors.
Each week of camp typically includes a combination of hands-on workshops, activities, and games. Some camps may also include a campus or industry tour, guest speaker(s), or other special events. Specific careers/topics covered at each location will differ based on the specialties of our camp hosts, local partners, and the resources available in each community/region.
