Heritage Suites Completes Significant Expansion
June 15, 2023Cornwall Ontario – Cornwall is now home to a new exceptional senior living community with the opening of the Heritage Suites Retirement Residence.
Upon completing the construction of the state-of-the-art building, Dean Rushlow, the owner of Heritage Suites expressed his admiration for the remarkable unity demonstrated by the community, and noted with pride that approximately 95% of the trades hired for the construction were local to Cornwall.
“I am excited to contribute to the community by providing an elevated standard of living for our older adults and generating new job opportunities in Cornwall,” said Mr. Rushlow. “Our staff eagerly anticipates supporting older adults in enhancing active lifestyles, encouraging community involvement, and enabling them to gracefully age in place.”
With its charming brick and stone façade and picturesque views overlooking the golf course and water, Heritage Suites introduces 80 brand-new suites on 3 floors. Each suite features large windows, high ceilings, and are equipped with kitchenettes and fireplaces. Many suites have spacious balconies. Residents have access to well-balanced meals, attentive 24h-care, and an array of elevated activities.
“The distinguishing aspect of our community lies in the unique design of the physically connected, yet separate buildings,” says General Manager Sue Crepeau who has been with the company for over 11 years. “This concept enables Heritage Suites to foster a strong community of independent and active individuals while ensuring that extra support remains readily available.”
Grand Opening – June 24
Heritage Suites Retirement Residence will celebrate the Grand Opening of its exceptional senior living community on June 24, 2023 from 10am to 1pm, at 1755 Vincent Massey Drive in Cornwall. Local residents are invited to discover the new standard of luxury living with complimentary food tastings and guided tours. In celebration of Senior’s Month in June, Heritage Suites is partnering with local community organizations to showcase the various senior oriented resources available.
Heritage Retirement Residences
Heritage Suites is the third retirement community owned by the developer Dean Rushlow, who acquired nearby Heritage Heights in early 2012. The expansion initiative of Heritage Suites, constructed by CDR Construction Inc. and managed by Perras Distefano, began in 2021 and culminated in early 2023.
