Immigrant Women Entrepreneurs Gathering in Cornwall

Cornwall, Ontario – Immigrant women entrepreneurs from across Cornwall and Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry will be gathering on Thursday, October 9 for an evening of networking, inspiration, and community building.

Immigrant Women Entrepreneurs MeetUp

The evening event is hosted by Immigrant Entrepreneur Canada (IEC) and presented by Riipen, in partnership with Startup Canada’s Startup Women initiative, and supported locally by the Cornwall & Area Chamber of Commerce and the Cornwall SDG Business Enterprise Centre.

“As a partner in this event, we are proud to support immigrant women and non-binary entrepreneurs in our community”, said Mireille Lemire, Business Advisor at the Cornwall SDG Business Enterprise Centre. “The drive, creativity, and resilience enrich our region, and we believe providing opportunities to connect and collaborate is essential to helping their businesses thrive.”

What to Expect

The MeetUp is designed to bring entrepreneurs together in a welcoming environment where they can share stories, exchange ideas, and build networks of support. The event also highlights the important role women immigrant-led businesses play in strengthening the regional economy and fostering inclusive growth.

The Immigrant Women Entrepreneurs MeetUp is free to attend, but advance registration is required. Seats can be reserved through Eventbrite. The event takes place Thursday, October 9 from 6 PM to 8:30 PM at the DEV Hotel & Conference Centre in Cornwall.
