Leclerc Expands Production in Cornwall
December 18, 2020Cornwall Ontario – The Leclerc Group has expanded production at its state-of-the-art production facility in Cornwall.
The company has doubled its capacity with the installation of a new production line. The new line utilizes the very latest in food processing technology, with a focus on quality and food safety.
The company has doubled its capacity with the installation of a new production line. The new line utilizes the very latest in food processing technology, with a focus on quality and food safety. Thanks to this new line, Leclerc will be able to produce more than 2,200 bars every minutes.
COVID-19 has not slowed down the Leclerc’s production. In fact, the next step for the company is to increase the productivity of its new line to answer the high demand of their clients.
As production capacity grows, so too has the workforce. Despite the modern and sophisticated equipment, employees continue to be at the heart of operations.
“We firmly believe that it is our people that allows Leclerc Group to stand out from the big multinational food companies,” says Denis Leclerc, President of Leclerc Group.
The company now employs 60 people in Cornwall, and is currently recruiting to grow its team.
Leclerc established the 160,000 square foot facility in the Cornwall Business Park in 2019.
