Perkins Store Joins BMR GroupMarch 3, 2022
Cornwall Ontario – One of Cornwall’s longest standing retailers has joined the BMR Group.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the Perkins store is well known in the area for its wide selection of hardware and building products, its outstanding customer service, and its competitive pricing. After retailing under the Rona banner for more than 32 years, owners Roy and Muriel Perkins decided to join BMR Group because of the support offered to dealers and the competitive pricing.
“We are very happy to be part of the BMR family and are eager to roll out the brand in our area,” said Roy Perkins, co-owner of the BMR Cornwall store. “The expertise of BMR Group’s staff as well as its line of products will allow us to continue to offer our customers a customized service. We look forward to many great years with BMR.”
BMR Group offers nearly 300 renovation centres and hardware stores in Québec, Ontario, and the Maritime provinces generating more than $1.3 billion in retail sales per year.
“Our expansion in Eastern Canada goes smoothly with the addition of the Cornwall BMR Perkins store. With recent stores joining us in Kemptville, Hawkesbury, and Winchester, it is clear that the BMR network is very welcoming to independent dealers looking for a local partner. Our new CEO, Alexandre Lefebvre, has brought a new vision of our current and future dealers’ needs,” explained Jonathan Gendreau, Vice President Business Development, Marketing and Customer Experience at BMR Group.
The BMR Perkins store will run under the BMR banner and provide customers a selection of nearly 17,000 products, including hardware products, seasonal products, and building materials. It is centrally situated in Cornwall on Marleau Avenue, just west of the Cornwall Business Park. The new banner and facade will be finalized within the next two months, and the 10,000 square-foot layout will give the store a more modern look, while sporting the BMR colours.
You can visit the store Mondays thru Saturdays at 1100 Marleau Ave, or call the staff at 613-938-3300
