June 25, 2019
By Ryan Kuhn

Cornwall, Ontario – Seven students from across Cornwall, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry will begin their entrepreneurial journeys as participants in the Summer Company program.

Summer Company Cornwall 2019

These new entrepreneurs will be introduced to the community with a special Summer Company launch event on Friday, June 28th, 2019 at the Cornwall Civic Complex in the main concourse. The celebration will begin at 11:30 am and run until 1:30 pm. The public is invited to attend and meet these new entrepreneurs and learn more about their ventures.

The students earned this opportunity through the Summer Company program, a provincial grant offered through the Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre. The grant program offers business training, mentorship opportunities and financial aid to students during their summer breaks.

“Once again, we have a wide variety of businesses and a group of young but enthusiastic entrepreneurs. It will be exciting for us to assist them as they jump into the world of entrepreneurship,” says Candy Pollard, Business Consultant of the Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre.
