Shop the Blocks Returns to Downtown Cornwall
November 1, 2021Cornwall Ontario – Downtown Cornwall’s most popular shopping event is back for another year.
Shop the Blocks returns on Friday, November 12th and Saturday, November 13th, offering a two-day experience showcasing the best in food, art, gift-giving ideas, pampering, healthy lifestyle options and more in the heart of the city.
“Shop The Blocks is well known as an annual Downtown Cornwall event where Christmas shoppers can score early deals,” said Josh Casselman, owner of Kings and Little Ones and Chair of the Downtown Business Improvement Area. “Downtown stores and restaurants organize to offer specials and coordinate on extended hours. It’s a great way to kickoff the Holiday Season!”
The event dates back to 2013 when downtown merchants have held a special night of shopping. Participating Downtown businesses will be joining forces to showcase their newest collections and current trends in a safe shopping experience, with many staying open late on Friday, November 12th.
“Shop the Blocks is a great kick off to the holiday season,” said Chris Munro, owner of Life’s Little Pleasures. “It’s a great chance to start your holiday shopping or to find some cool gift ideas. Bring some family or friends and make a night of it with some shopping and dining Downtown.”
