St. Lawrence Marathon Sees Surge in Registrations
January 15, 2026Cornwall Ontario — One week after opening registration, the St. Lawrence Marathon has already welcomed 650 registered runners, filling more than 70% of its total spots for race day on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
The St. Lawrence Marathon features four race distances — 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon — and draws runners from across Eastern Ontario, Quebec, and beyond. The event attracts runners who enjoy the fast, scenic route along the St. Lawrence River.
“Seeing 650 registrations in the first week is incredible,” said Sebastian Warner, Race Director. “It tells us people are hungry for a well-run, community-powered event — and if you’re thinking about joining, don’t wait. We’re on pace to sell out.”
The St. Lawrence Marathon is known for its supportive atmosphere, volunteer energy, and waterfront course. With limited capacity and strong early demand, organizers are encouraging runners and families to register soon to secure their place.
