Timila is the New Name in Contract Electronics Manufacturing
October 15, 2025Cornwall Ontario – The name may be different, but the legacy of excellence continues. Timila is the new name of respected manufacturer MPIQC, which is headquartered in the Cornwall Business Park.
“We are excited to unveil our new identity which is yet another milestone in our journey which began nearly 50 years ago,” says Claude Losier, President and Chief Operating Officer for Timila Cornwall. “Timila is a name that transcends languages or nations, a name that will allow us to form strong partnerships with our customers. It is an important evolution as we move to position ourselves in the fast-growing international marketplace.”
Using state of the art equipment, a lean approach to production and a highly skilled workforce, Timila’s facility in Cornwall can support up to IPC Class 3, as well as AS9100, ISO9001, and ISO13845 standards. Expansion is on the horizon, including opening a new facility in Thailand in Q1 2026.
“Timila is a service company, and we are looking to provide solutions to customers wherever they may be,” says Dominique Quintal, VP International Sales and Business Development. “Our business may be hi-tech and international, yet our success is based on personal relationships.”
Mr. Quintal has been busy introducing the new Timila to customers in Ontario, Quebec, Europe and the USA. The company is active in the aerospace, defense, telecom, satcom, industrial and medical industries – amongst others.
