Update on Municipal Facilities and Services

Cornwall Ontario – The City of Cornwall is extending recreation facilities closures to May 12, 2020. Offices remain closed to the public until further notice, although in many instances City departments remain available via phone or email.

Recreation Facilities

  • Indoor facilities, such as the Civic Complex, Benson Centre, and Aquatic Centre,
  • Outdoor facilities, including play structures, tennis courts, sports fields, outdoor gyms, seating areas, and boat launches.
  • Note that walking is permitted as long as residents follow Eastern Ontario Health Unit guidelines.

The Household Hazardous Waste Depot will remain closed until at least May 20.

Other Programs and Services

Dog tags may still be purchased curbside at Fence Depot and Stacey’s Pet Depot. This year, fees will not increase for tags purchased after May 1. Tags are $25 for altered dogs, $50 for unaltered dogs. Click here to learn more.
