Virtual Town Hall Meeting to be Repeated

Cornwall Ontario – A successful “virtual town hall” for the business community organized by local MP Eric Duncan will be repeated this week.

“We were pleased to have had 125+ participants in our first online meeting, and we appreciated the questions and feedback received,” said Mr. Duncan, Member of Parliament for Stormont Dundas and South Glengarry. “We are happy to reach out an connect with people again.”

The meeting was held on the online video conferencing platform Zoom, which allowed dozens of business owners to call in and participate in the meeting from all corners of the region. During that online meeting, Mr. Duncan was joined by MPP Jim McDonell and Dr. Paul Roumeliotis from the Eastern Ontario Health Unit. Facebook Live Town Hall – Tuesday April 21

Mr. Duncan will host a Facebook Live Town Hall on Tuesday, April 21st at 7:oo pm which will focus on support for individuals.

Business Community Virtual Town Hall – Thursday April 23

A second session for small businesses will take place Thursday, April 23rd from 8:00-9:30pm using the Zoom platform. Mr. Duncan will once again be joined by MPP Jim McDonell. The agenda will be similar with a MP and MPP update on the latest government announcements, followed up by Q&A.
