No matter where you live, access to quality healthcare is important. Unfortunately, for residents of many urban satellite communities and outlying regions, the nearest hospital is more than 30 minutes away. Not so in Cornwall. 	Cornwall Community Hospital Cornwall Community Hospital is an acute care hospital providing everything from ambulatory to emergency services, from paediatrics to palliative care. Centrally located on a 25-acre site, the Hospital has 185 beds along with modern state-of-the-art Emergency Department, Day Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Surgical Suite and support services.
	St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre The hospital is supported by St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre, which operates a long-term care home with complex continuing care services. St. Joe’s recently opened a brand new 209-bed facility located on York Street in the downtown core.
	Seaway Valley Community Health Centre Seaway Valley Community Health Centre is a charitable, not-for-profit community-led organization. SVCHC provides a wide range of health and wellness services and programs to families and individuals in the community. seawayvalleychc.ca

	Eastern Ontario Health Unit The Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) is a health agency that addresses public health issues and promotes healthy living. The organization’s head office is in Cornwall. www.EOHU.ca
	Cornwall SDG Paramedic Services As an integral component of the regional 9-1-1 system, Cornwall SDG Paramedic Services provides 24-hour, 365-day emergency coverage to the city and the region. Paramedics are highly trained and skilled in the pre-hospital management of a wide spectrum of emergencies. The modern headquarters for the EMS is located in the Cornwall Business Park.
	Great River Ontario Health Team The Great River Ontario Health Team (GR OHT) is a collective of health and social service providers who plan and work together, as one coordinated team. groht.ca

More than 80 physicians and 25 dentists have a practice in Cornwall, and they are supported by a number of health clinics, 3 nursing services, a growing number of nursing homes and senior residences, and the Community Care Access Centre.
