The 80-page bilingual publication also features a comprehensive events calendar and themed adventure pages to encourage visitors to make the most of their time in the area. A fold-out cycling map is also included to serve families seeking a fun cycling adventure in the area.

“The new Guide offers a great snapshot of all the great things there are to experience in our community,” said Kevin Lajoie, Tourism Officer with Cornwall Tourism. “We want people to be excited about visiting Cornwall and help them discover some of our best attractions in the area.”

The Guide is enhanced by some amazing photographs by local photographers such as Lee Ladouceur, Ang Waterton, Melanie Boileau, Chelsea Jodoin and Bobby Lefebvre. The cover image, taken by Jason McNamara, showcases the Mainville family of Cornwall taking a family selfie in Lamoureux Park next to the iconic clock tower.

“We’re happy to showcase a local family that loves to support Cornwall” added Lajoie.

The 2020 Visitor Guide uses a digest size that makes the book easy to carry and access. It was produced by Seaway News, and designed by Colleen Parette.

“We are happy to once again partner with Cornwall Tourism on this popular publication,” said Rick Shaver, Publisher of Seaway News. “We were pleased to see so many local companies support the Guide and see the value in servicing the needs of visitors.”

The Visitor Guide will also be handed out a number of tourism trade shows this spring.

“Cornwall hosts tens of thousands of visitors each year, including families, sporting groups and business conferences,” noted Mr. Lajoie. “The Visitor Guide can often be found in the hands of visitors as they choose how to spend their free time in the city.”
