2025 Visitor Guide Now Available
February 28, 2025Cornwall Ontario – The highly anticipated 2025 Visitor Guide for Cornwall and Stormont Dundas & Glengarry (SDG) Counties has arrived, promising to be an essential resource for exploring the region’s diverse attractions and experiences.
Building on the success of previous years, this year’s guide highlights the region’s rich history, extensive cycling opportunities, thrilling outdoor adventures, and vibrant local businesses and accommodations. The guide is produced in partnership by Cornwall Tourism and SDG Tourism.
“We’re thrilled to partner with SDG Tourism to highlight all of the amazing things we have in our region in one publication,” said Shauna Baggs, Tourism Officer with the City of Cornwall. “We have so many great reasons to visit Cornwall and SDG Counties and the new Visitor Guide is a testament to that.”
This year’s 112-page bilingual publication features detailed information on authentic experiences, delectable food and drink, outdoor recreation, historical and cultural sites, attractions, and a wide range of accommodations. The guide also includes insightful itineraries and local ambassador recommendations, providing a unique perspective for readers.
“The new Visitor Guide perfectly captures the spirit of what makes our region so unique and special,” said Cory Hagen, Tourism Coordinator with SDG Counties. “The guide features interesting itineraries for visitors to enjoy as well as recommendations from local ambassadors to provide a unique insight for readers.”
Key Highlights of the 2025 Visitor Guide
- Extensive Distribution: 60,000 copies have been printed, with distribution planned across Ontario, Quebec, and New York State.
- Strategic Placement: Guides will be available at community attractions and accommodations throughout the region, City of Cornwall offices, the Visitor Information Centre, Ontario Travel Centres along the Highway 401 corridor, and at various other locations in the National Capital Region, Eastern Ontario, western Quebec, and northern New York.
- Broad Reach: In addition to the above, copies of the Visitor Guide will be handed out at a number of trade shows this spring, and at festivals and events this summer.
- Local Support: The guide is supported by numerous local businesses, including restaurants, shops, artisans, and attractions.
- Comprehensive Content: The guide highlights the region’s rich history, cycling opportunities, outdoor adventures, and local businesses and accommodations.
The 2025 Visitor Guide is poised to be a popular resource for those planning a visit to Cornwall and SDG Counties. Visitors can expect to find it in hotels, public buildings, and select businesses and attractions throughout the region, as well as at trade shows and special events throughout the year.
