Archies Expands Driving Range with Toptracer
May 11, 2026Cornwall Ontario – Golfers looking to hone their game should check out the new Toptracer driving range at Archie’s Family Golf Centre.
The range features 14 partially enclosed driving bays overlooking the famous pond, offering protection from the elements, a comfortable place to sit and new technology to take your game to the next level.
“This is the same Archie’s experience you know and love – just better,” says Carol Ann Baxter, owner of Archie’s. “Track your shots with tour-level precision, challenge your friends to games, or just hang out in our covered, lounge-style bays. This is golf — reimagined.”
The new Toptracer bays use cameras and software to track every shot you hit in real time. Each bay, which can be booked online, has comfortable seating for four.
“Toptracer is the technology that tracks shots on the PGA Tour. It is now available right here in Cornwall,” says Ms. Baxter. “Think of it as the bowling alley of golf. Social, competitive, and everyone can play.”
Users can select from a variety of interactive game modes such as Closest to Pin, Longest Drive, and Virtual Golf, making practice more engaging for all skill levels. You can even play Angry Birds.
“This is so much better than hitting into a screen,” notes Ms. Baxter. “You can see your ball flight from contact to splash down, and also receive real-time feedback. It’s a lot of fun!”

Toptracer is a camera-based ball-tracking technology used to provide real-time, data-driven feedback on shot performance. Using high-speed cameras and algorithms, it tracks flight path, distance, speed, and launch angle, displaying this data on screens in hitting bays or via a mobile app.
