Classified to Headline Summer Beer Fest
June 20, 2017Cornwall Ontario – The Summer Beer Fest has a new location and an expanded line-up of entertainment.
The festival that celebrates local craft beer will be held in Lamoureux Park on Satuday June 24th. . Hot off the release of his 15th studio album “Greatful”, two-time Juno Award winner Classified will headline a long list of entertainment that includes rising star Melanie Brulée.
“We’re thrilled to have Classified headline the Summer Beer Fest concert,” said Sébastien Manigat, Director of the Seaway Food Festival. “We knew we wanted a big, fresh, Canadian sound to help celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary. Booking Classified was the perfect fit.”
Of course, the main attraction will still be the experience of sampling new craft beer as well as tasty samples from local restaurants and the fast-growing craft beer market. Participating breweries include Cornwall’s very own Rurban Brewery as well as Cassel Brewery in Casselman and Beau’s in Vankleek Hill.
“Beer Fest has emerged as a showcase of what’s best about our region and community,” says Mr. Manigat.
Over 2000 people are expected to attend.

Free Transit
Cornwall Transit will be providing free rides to and from Beer Fest. Simply show your event bracelet when boarding the bus. Bus service will be extended by 30 minutes with the last bus leaving Pitt & Second at 11:45 pm. Enjoy responsibly – don’t drink and drive!
Tickets
General Admission tickets are $30. Tickets provide access to the grounds, the market, the games, the tents and all musical entertainment throughout the day, including the night concert. Beer, food and market items cost extra.

Details
Summer Beer Fest is a 19 years and over event and will take place in Lamoureux Park along the shores of the St. Lawrence River. Free parking is available the Cornwall Civic Complex at 100 Water Street East.
It will be held on Saturday June 24th, 2017 from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.
