Cornwall City Hall Reopens to the Public
June 17, 2020Cornwall Ontario – Cornwall City Hall is open to the public, beginning Wednesday, June 17.
Hours are limited to 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the public may access the first floor only. Washrooms are not open to the public.
Signage is in place to ensure physical distancing. Protective guards are in place to allow staff to serve residents safely.
Residents may choose to visit City Hall to:
- Pay property taxes and water utility bills
- Obtain a marriage license
- Obtain a commissioner of oaths endorsement
Death registrations will continue to take place online – please email clerk[at]cornwall.ca for details.
Residents can also call the City at 613-930-2787.
Cornwall City Hall houses Council Chambers as well as the offices of Human Resources, City Clerk, Property Tax Division and the offices of the Mayor and CAO. It is located at 360 Pitt Street in Downtown Cornwall. The building has been closed to the public since mid-March in response to public health and safety concerns.
