Rent a Bike and Cycle the Riverside Trail
June 10, 2026Cornwall Ontario – People looking to enjoy the Riverside Trail are once again able to rent bicycles at Marina 200.
Bicycles can be rented out on an hourly basis or for a full day from the Marina office, from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
“Cornwall has the best part of the Riverside Trail, offering over 12 kilometers of vehicle-free cycling with fantastic views of the St. Lawrence River,” says Tara Quesnel, Supervisor with the City’s Recreation Department. “As people get out to this summer weather, cycling offers an opportunity to explore our parks and trails.”
Customers will be able to choose from 6 available bikes. Each bike is suitable for people between 5’ and 6’. Bike rentals include a helmet, lock and map of local cycling trails. All bikes are sanitized after each use.
Bike Rental Rates
- One Hour: $10.20 (tax included)
- Four Hours: $25.50 (tax included)
- Full Day: $35.60 (tax included)
Bikes can be reserved by calling the Marina at 613-932-8301. Free public parking is available in the Civic Complex parking lot overlooking the marina.
T-Shirts, water bottles and other merchandise is also available for purchase at Marina 200, along with drinks, ice cream and other refreshments.
About the Riverside Trail
Cornwall’s Riverside Trail offers over 23 km of traffic-free cycling along the St. Lawrence River. It is part of the world renowned Waterfront Trail that connects 140 communities and First Nations along the Canadian shores of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River.
The Riverside Trail is a dedicated multi-use trail that spans the entire waterfront, offering stunning views of the Cornwall Canal and St. Lawrence River – completely off-road. The Trail connects several attractions including the OPG Visitor Centre, Cornwall Community Museum, Lamoureux Park and the Aquatic Centre.
Free parking for trail users is available at the Cornwall Civic Complex, which also provides public washrooms.
